Lainie Muir
MSc Student
Hello everyone, I'm Lainie and I am an MSc student at USask working with Dr. Preston Sorenson and Dr. Chantel Chizen. I call Glenella, MB, home where I grew up on a purebred and commercial black Angus cattle farm. Due to my upbringing, I am dedicated to empowering the next generation in agriculture and connecting producers to researchers in the natural sciences. My research is interested in how management practices impact long-term soil organic carbon stocks in prairie agricultural soils. In addition to soil, I am passionate about making time for my faith, family, friends, being active, cooking a good meal, and time outdoors!
